As businesses becomes more and more competitive, specialized training in the subject of business management has become a necessity. The degree course in Business Management develops the students' theoretical and practical ability in a range of business activity. A lot of focus is given to grooming and personality development of the students.
The teaching pedagogy at PITM is mostly application-oriented. The pedagogical models include Structured Lectures, Case Analysis, Co-operative Learning, Inquiry-based Learning, Practice-based Learning, Development Orientation, Personal Counselling, Continuous Assessment and Evaluation. In cooperative learning, students work together in small groups on a structured activity. They are individually accountable for their work and the work of the group as a whole is also assessed. In the BBA department the teacher acts as a facilitator of learning.
On the development front, the BBA Department has made an exclusive arrangement where, one day in a week is reserved for conducting special sessions for students’ development, viz. Communication Development, Personality Development, Business Etiquette, Mock Interview, Business Quiz, Panel Discussion, Presentation on Contemporary Topics, Assessment Techniques etc.
As businesses becomes more and more competitive, specialized training in the subject of business management has become a necessity. The degree course in Business Management develops the students' theoretical and practical ability in a range of business activity. A lot of focus is given to grooming and personality development of the students.
